On behalf of our pastor, Fr. John and all of Sacred Heart School’s Faculty and Staff, I invite you to become a part of our school family.  As we near 80 years of excellence in education,  joining Sacred Heart School means becoming an integral part of our history as we work together to build your child’s future.  We look forward to a partnership that provides your child a quality education based in the values of our Catholic Faith.

You’ll soon see the incredible opportunities we provide.  Be sure to tell your friends about the wonderful things happening at SHS!  Sacred Heart School offers to reimburse the registration fee to any current family that refers a new family to our School by July 15^th.

4. B6T Form (to be completed by all families with students in grades K-8 that reside 2+ miles from Sacred  Heart School and where bus service is provided. (excluding Burlington City)
5. Individual Pupil Request for Loan of Textbooks (must be completed for each student)
6. Parish Registration Verification

 
You can also visit our website at www.sacred-heart-school.org to download additional forms if needed, as well as keep abreast of any updates.  You are also always welcome to call Mrs. Sheaffer in the main office to answer any questions you may have.  Should you have any questions, please feel free to call the office at 609-267-1728 ext 316.
 
Please return your fully completed packet with the registration fee/s as early as possible to ensure your child’s placement. If you register before March 15th you will also benefit from a reduced registration fee.

Sacred Heart School is an academically rigorous school in a nurturing, Catholic environment.  It is our prayer that every student find happiness in life by honing their God-given gifts.

 If you are interested in applying to our school, we recommend that you schedule a tour to come visit and see personally the great things happening at Sacred Heart. Your child may or may not attend the tour at your discretion.  When attending the tour we would like you to  bring:

• Your child's report cards for the current year and 2 previous years. (for grades 2 and above)

 To ensure that our school is the right fit for your child, all prospective students are to complete:

• A shadow day with assessment by the teacher or a benchmark assessment if applying during the summer months
• Interview with the principal

Sacred Heart seeks to partner with parents in the education and spiritual formation of their child and invite families to be an active part of our community!

General Information:

PreK Students
All PreK students must be fully potty-trained.  To be admitted into our PreK-3 Program, students must be 3 years old by September 30th. 

Kindergarten Students
All Kindergarten students who have not attended Sacred Heart School's PreK program must come to Sacred Heart prior to the start of the academic school year for a Kindergarten Readiness Assessment. 

Transfer Students
Any student transferring to Sacred Heart will need to schedule an interview with the principal.  Academic and behavioral records for the current year and 2 previous years must also be reviewed prior to admission to Sacred Heart.
Please know that with the exception of a family relocating, we do not accept mid-year transfers in the 8th grade.

30 Day Probationary Period
While we welcome all enthusiastic learners to our school, it is important the our school be a good fit for the student and that the student be a good fit for our school in the interest of our academic pursuits.  Any distruption to the order of our school will be evaluated within the first 30 days.
