My name is Mr. Burke.  I am the 8th grade homeroom and Middle School Social Studies teacher.  I am married and have 3 sons.

I graduated from Rider College. I am a certified K-12 teacher.  I am a life-long learner who hopes to teach others to do the same.  I have been teaching Middle School age students for over 30 years!

I love Sacred Heart because it is not just a school.  Sacred Heart is a family where we are all brothers and sisters in Christ.

I love relating TODAY to what we are learning about in History Class.  We see how far we have come, and how we can prayerfully move forward and make this country better for all of us!

My favorite school activity is RECESS!  And Drama Club, of course.

My favorite Bible verse is Joshua 1:9 "I command you: be strong and steadfast!Do not fear nor be dismayed, for the Lord, your God, is with you wherever you go."
