As many of you know, each year the National Catholic Education Association spends the last week in January celebrating our Catholic Schools and the blessing they are to their children, families, and greater community. Here, students come to learn, serve, lead, and succeed. In keeping with this theme, we have some exciting events scheduled here in our own community of Sacred Heart.
Without a doubt, Sacred Heart School would not be where it is today without the prayerful support of our wonderful parish, lead by our pastor Fr. John. We would like to take this opportunity to thank our parish at Masses this weekend for the great things we are able to accomplish because of their belief in and support of our school. We invite all of our SHS students to wear their uniforms to Mass this weekend and members of our school community will share personal testimonies of the benefit of our school. Our Parish is our biggest supporter in every way so let’s be sure to show them how grateful we are and wear our uniforms proudly!
We will also have our annual Open House rescheduled due to inclement weather. It will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022 from 10:30am-1pm. Spread the word that our teachers will be in the building to talk about all the phenomenal things we have going on at Sacred Heart School. Members of our Student Council will also be available to give tours and speak about our student life here. This is an opportunity for people to learn about what makes Catholic schools unique—all are welcome! We love talking about what we love doing here at SHS!
