Thank you to all who came out and supported our Spring Book Fair!  Our theme was "Dino-Mite Book Fair: Stomp, Chomp, and Read!"  Many thanks to all of the volunteers who helped make this fair a dino-mite success!  A special Thank-you to Maggie Ottenwess, chair, and Toni Hopkins, co-chair! You are the best!

As in past years, we collected donations for Scholastic's All For Books program. This program not only benefits our school and classroom libraries, but also puts books into the hands of children in need. There were four classes with the 100% participation: 1st grade, 5th grade, 7th grade, and 8th grade - each earned a gift certificate for their teacher to use for their classroom libraries! Congratulations! The students in all classes also voted on their favorite dinosaure - a pajama-clad dino won, so the students will receive a pajama day at a date to be announced.  Best of all, nearly $200 was raised, which Scholastic will match and send to children who would not otherwise have access to books.
